Terms of Use

Lore - Cyber investigation memory · Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of Lore. By using the service you accept them.

1. The service

Lore is a platform for cyber threat-intelligence collection, analysis and investigation memory. It automatically collects publicly published research from vendor blogs, CERT advisories, government sources and similar feeds, and analyses documents you provide. Lore is intended for security professionals.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to content you upload or paste into Lore. You grant us the limited licence needed to store it, analyse it, and display it according to the visibility you chose (private or public). You confirm you have the right to share any content you submit. Do not upload confidential material to public investigations.

3. Analysis output

Lore's extraction, entity resolution, hypotheses, "seen before" comparisons and hunting queries are decision-support. AI-assisted findings are kept only when their quote is found verbatim in the source, but no output is guaranteed to be complete, correct or fit for a specific purpose. Verify findings before acting on them. You are responsible for how you use the results.

4. Third-party content

The Global Intel Library contains material collected from public sources. Each report links to its original source; the source's own terms govern its content. If you are a rights holder and want material removed, contact us.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

6. Organisations

An organisation (company) is managed by its admins. Admins can invite and remove members. If you leave an organisation or are removed, your private investigations remain yours; shared organisation visibility follows the organisation's records.

7. Accounts

Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create excessive load or cost.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lore is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on analysis output.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: contact us through the application or at the address published on this site.
